Lake Schmidell - Day 1
Nobody seems to know much about who Tyler was - but this is as far as he got.
We didn't know whether this little guy might have been a descendent of Tyler's. (He didn't know either.)

The name's really a little misleading. It's only called
Rockbound Pass because it's completely bound by rock. And once you make
peace with the angle of inclination it isn't even all that steep!

We didn't actually meet any of them, but the pass is
closely guarded by big, nasty Trail Trolls
